About this journal

The journal, Les Archives de l’Institut Pasteur de Tunis (Arch Inst Pasteur Tunis) was founded in 1906 by Charles Nicolle (Institute director from 1903 to 1936). It is an indexed journal (Medline) published quarterly, which celebrated its centenary in 2006.

The journal is oriented towards the dissemination of research in all fields of biology and especially the fundamental and applied research within the Pasteurian disciplines. Publications in this journal are open to scientists from Maghreb, especially Tunisia.
The publication of the journal was suspended from January 1942 to December 1954. Since, it continues to be published annually as a volume consisting of four booklets.
On the occasion of some important national and international scientific events, special editions were published. This was the case for the centenary of the Institute (1994) and the centenary of the review (2006) the one on the 4th meeting of INSERM NORTH-SOUTH network, or, more recently, for the congress “Les journées franco-tunisiennes de parasitologie” (volume 87)
At each edition, 650 hard copies of the magazine are distributed worldwide as well as subscriptions or partnership with several institutions, universities, libraries and national and international publishing houses.
It is also distributed for free to the entire scientific staff of the Institute and a dozen volumes is archived.
